My Family Tree

This is the story of my family tree. I am recreating the journey step by step and re-building the tree as I go so that you can follow along with a real life example of how to research, record and get past problems. There are emotional ups and downs on the way, as there will be with your tree, and they can take some dealing with. It’s a fascinating story with all the elements of a novel, love, marriage, bigamy, birth, heroism, murder, wealth, poverty, death and adventure. No living people are shown as that would not be appropriate but the story is fascinating, moving across the globe and going back almost a thousand years.
